Chad - Cameroon Oil Pipeline Victim Of Complex Legal / Political Dispute

Chad's nationalization of the 1000-km oil pipeline between Chad and Cameroon has led to a full-blown legal and diplomatic crisis between the two neighboring African countries, coming on the heels of ExxonMobil's decision to divest from its hydrocarbon operations in December of last year.

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Leads The Way In Reducing Methane Gas Emissions

Nearly one year ago, PG&E submitted its annual emissions data to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). Using 2015 emissions levels as a baseline value, the data demonstrated that PG&E had reached more than 24% emissions reductions by mid-year 2022, with an additional 5% forecast by the end of 2023.

Ankara Holds Up The Restart Of The 450,000 bpd Kirkuk - Ceyhan Oil Pipeline

Iraq was upbeat two weeks ago after an International Court of Arbitration called on Ankara to pay Baghdad $1.5 billion for unauthorized exports by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) between 2014 and 2018. Since the ruling Ankara has stopped the export of 450,000 bpd through the Ceyhan port and is seeking to negotiate the $1.5 billion award. Ankara and Baghdad seem to be at an impasse.

Nigeria's National Petroleum Co. to Invest $12.5B in Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Project

Nigeria's National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) is set to invest $12.5 billion to secure a 50 percent equity stake in the $25 billion Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline project.

The investment plan follows the resolution of a lingering Production Sharing Contract (PSC) by parties involved in the project.

Amplify Energy to Resume Use of Ruptured Pipeline that Spilt 25000 Gallons of Oil in 2021

Amplify Energy, the pipeline operator responsible for the spill that leaked about 25,000 gallons of oil into the ocean off Huntington Beach in October 2021, announced on Monday, April 10 that it was refilling the pipeline and plans to resume operations this month, the Orange County Register reported on Monday.

Iran Working on Major Gas Pipeline to Boost Domestic Supply and Export Capacities

The National Iranian Gas Company's engineering subsidiary, led by Reza Noshadi, on Tuesday, gave updates on the progress of a 200-kilometre gas pipeline from Minab to Kuhmobarak on the Sea of Oman.

According to the reports, the pipeline is expected to increase the gas supply to domestic customers in the region while demonstrating Iran's ability to supply gas to Oman.
