US Regulator Orders TC Energy to Reduce Pressure on Keystone Pipeline after Massive Spill

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has ordered Canadian pipeline operator TC Energy to reduce the operating pressure on more than 1,000 additional miles of its Keystone pipeline.

Shipping Companies Tentatively Agree to Pay $100 Mn Over California Oil Pipeline Breach

A group of international shipping companies and their subsidiaries agreed last week to pay $96.5 million to Amplify Energy Corp. to dismiss one of the last remaining lawsuits over a massive oil spill off the Southern California coast that sent at least 596,000 liters of crude into the waters off Huntington Beach in October 2021.

Pakistan Could Face $18bn Fine in a Delayed Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline on its Territory

Pakistan is looking for a workaround to avoid a problem with the U.S. and billions of dollars in fines for the delayed Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project.

According to an article published by Press TV on March 4, sources privy to the matter revealed Pakistani lawmakers had demanded progress on the project, warning of penalties if it is not completed by the year-end.

Explosion at Nigeria Oil Pipeline Kills 12, Shell Blames Crude Oil Theft for the Tragedy

Nord Stream Pipelines To Be Mothballed

In a major development likely sounding the death knell for the erstwhile pride of the extensive Russian pipeline network, Reuters has reported that Gazprom is set to seal up the damaged Nord Stream 1 & 2 pipelines to Europe as there are no plans to repair them.

Enagas Acquires a Strategic Gas Pipeline Network Worth $57 Mln in Northern Spain

Spanish grid operator Enagas has made a significant strategic acquisition in the gas pipeline sector in the latest deal with Reganosa.

According to a Reuters report the company has purchased a 130-km gas pipeline network from energy firm Reganosa for €54 million ($57.33 million).
