The Kuwait Oil Company announced on Monday, March 20, that it had declared a state of emergency after an oil spill occurred on land due to a pipeline leak, as environmental activists criticized the incident as a "recurring problem" in the Gulf state, France 24 reported.

Russia and China Reach Agreement on Power of Siberia 2 Gas Pipeline

Moscow, Russia - Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday that Russia and China had reached an agreement on the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline. The new pipeline will connect Siberia to northwest China and will be a 2600-km pipeline originating in the Bovanenkovo and Kharasavey gas fields in Yamal.

Gas Leak from GAIL Pipeline Causes Explosion, Injuring Three People in Bangalore

Three people were seriously injured in an explosion caused by a gas pipeline leak in the HSR Layout 7th sector of Bangalore on Thursday.

According to a report published by Free Press Journal, the incident occurred when the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) accidentally broke the pipeline while digging a road, causing gas to leak into nearby homes.

KazTransOil to Send Tons of Oil to Germany via Druzhba Pipeline for the Third Time

Kazakhstan's oil transportation company, KazTransOil, plans to transport another 20,000 tons of oil to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline in April, according to Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov.

The announcement about the transportation of the third batch was made on the sidelines of the government meeting on March 14, as reported by Kazinform.

Pembina Pipeline's Cedar LNG Project Secures British Columbia's Environmental Approval

Pembina Pipeline Corporation announced yesterday that its Cedar LNG project had received environmental approval from the British Columbia government, Reuters reported on March 14.
