Cyprus Could Export Gas through Pipelines or Shipping it in the form of LNG

ExxonMobil Cyprus arm said Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the country could transport the vas natural gas reserves found off the east Mediterranean island nation to the markets through pipelines or as liquefied natural gas (LNG) as natural gas remains an important source of energy through 2050.

For A Brief Moment It Appeared As If Russian Gas Via Yamal Would Begin Flowing Westward

Natural gas flows from Russia to Germany via the Yamal pipeline came to a halt on Wednesday, data from the German network operator Gascade showed, dashing expectations it was about to pump gas west for the first time since December.  

Gas through the Yamal pipeline, which typically flows west into Germany, has been in reverse mode, flowing east to Poland, since Dec. 21.

German Part of Nord Stream 2 Pipeline's Subsidiary Established

A Total Of 14 US Petroleum Liquids Pipeline Projects Were Completed In 2021

Pipeline infrastructure companies completed 14 liquid pipeline projects in the United States last year, an updated Liquids Pipeline Projects Database from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows. Seven of the 14 projects are for crude oil pipelines, while the other seven are for hydrocarbon gas liquids.

The level of biogas supplied to the Danish gas systems hit a record high in 2021. The level of biogas produced and supplied to the country’s consumer gas systems was nearly 25% of the total gas consumption in Denmark.

In 2020, the amount of biogas injected into the consumer grid accounted for 21% of the country’s total gas consumption.
