Corinth Pipeworks Secures EUR 10 million Deal for Italy’s Strategic LNG Pipeline Project

Italian energy infrastructure major Snam has awarded Corinth Pipeworks a substantial contract worth over EUR 10 million (US$ 10.5 million) to manufacture and supply approximately 13 kilometers of longitudinally submerged arc-welded steel pipes (LSAW), Corinth Pipeworks announced through a press release.

TC Energy's Coast GasLink Hit By More Fines As It Nears Completion

As TC Energy's 670-km natural gas pipeline (dubbed Coastal GasLink) nears completion in British Columbia, Canada, the British Columbia's Environmental Assessment Office has fined the pipeline Canadian $346,000 - $256,810 for non-compliance with environmental regulations.

The Fate Of Iowa's Proposed 3218-km Carbon Capture Storage Pipeline On The Line

Compressor Station Failure on the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Leads to Force Majeure

Equipment failure at a compressor station caused an explosion and fire of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline in early August, prompting Kinder Morgan to declare force majeure.  The compressor remains shut and will likely not resume operations until October.

The fire was put out and no casualties were reported.

Approval of the Ostsee Anbindungsleitung (OAL) pipeline's first section

The Bergamt Stralsund granted approval for the first section of the Ostsee Anbindungsleitung (OAL) pipeline. The approximately 50-kilometre-long pipeline will connect the planned LNG terminal in the port of Mukran with the German gas pipeline network in Lubmin. The completion of the construction work is scheduled for the end of 2023.
