Approval of the Gulf Run Pipeline Granted By FERC

Oklahoma-based, pipeline operator and developer Enable Midstream Partners, announced on June 2, that it had gained FERC ( Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) approval to construct and operate a new pipeline, named the Gulf Run Pipeline. Approval was granted under section 7C of the National Gas Act.

Largest Pipeline in The United States Re-Opened By Colonial Pipeline

With some 60 percent of gas stations in metro Atlanta out of gasoline and 43 percent in Georgia and South Carolina overall without fuel, Colonial Pipeline began to restart the nation's largest operating pipeline of 8851-km as the Southeast United States began to get out from under.

Construction Of Nord Stream 2 Defended By Merkel

Nord Stream 2 has been the centre of a long-running dispute between the United States and Germany. Washington has criticised Nordstream 2 for potentially increasing Europe’s dependence on Russian gas but at the same time seeing it as reducing opportunities for US liquid natural gas exports to Europe.

United States Senate Follows Up On Its Nord Stream 2 Threats

The U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee of the US Congress has acted to put some teeth into its much ballyhooed Nordstream 2 sanctions policy by approving The Ukraine Security Partnership Act.  This measure authorizes $300 million in foreign military financing, of which $150 million would be subject to conditions.

A New 18km Long Natural Gas Pipeline Completed In Nigeria

The 18 km long Rite Foods Limited pipeline linking the factory in Ososa, Ogun State with the regional gas pipeline hub at Ibefun is complete. Able to carry 150,000,000 ft³ of gas a day, it will deliver reliable energy to the factory, which produces a range of products including Bigi Drinks, Rite and Bigi Sausages and Fearless Energy Drinks.

Firstgas Group Boldly Envisions A Carbon-Free Future

Firstgas Group, a swashbuckling, innovative New Zealand gas company with over 2,500-km of high pressure transmission pipelines and 4,800-km of distribution pipelines in the North Island, has announced a zero carbon gas future for the Kiwi nation.  This is based on the results of its Hydrogen Trial Study in which gas pipelines would be de-carbonized, with hydro
