Norwegian pipeline system engineering company, IK Group, has launched a new subsea pipeline repair startup called Norclamp

Spun off IK Group's repair clamp business unit of IK Subsea, Norclamp will offer a range of high-quality, standardized clamps designed to maintain pipeline and production systems.

The company’s product line includes the Compact Clamp, Split Clamp, and the industry’s first Infinity Clamp, all of which are available in various dimensions and pressure ratings.

Norclamp’s innovative technology significantly reduces lead times and costs, making its products ideal for emergency repairs.

As a separate entity, the company is committed to supporting the energy industry’s transition to net-zero emissions and will collaborate with exploration and production companies to achieve this goal.

IK Group, which is exhibiting at booth 7220 at ONS 2024, is confident that the newly founded Norclamp will create between 50 and 75 new jobs.
