Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian multinational engineering and construction company, has secured a contract worth up to $300 million from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), India's state-owned oil and gas giant.

According to a news report published by Offshore Engineer on Monday, July 1, 2024, the project involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of 129 kilometres of subsea pipelines and related modification works for ONGC's west coast offshore fields.

The contract was awarded to L&T's energy hydrocarbon division, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), with the exact value of the contract remaining undisclosed. However, L&T classified it as "significant," indicating a value between $120 million and $130 million.

LTEH offers integrated design-to-build solutions across the hydrocarbon sector for both domestic and international clients. The company is organized into several business groups, including offshore, onshore EPC, modular fabrication, advanced value engineering & technology, and offshore wind farms.
