Technical University of Leoben Launches New Pipeline Engineering Program
The Technical University of Leoben (TUL), Austria, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Pipeline Engineering Program, starting in March 2026. The program aims to strengthen the connection between academia and industry while addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in the global pipeline sector.
Developed in close collaboration with leading industrial partners, the program combines academic excellence with practical experience. It offers 12 specialized modules, available as a University Certificate (ULG) or as individual Micro-Credentials, covering key topics such as pipeline integrity management, safety, materials and corrosion, energy transition, and digitalization.
The program is designed for engineers, technicians, and industry professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in modern pipeline technology and operations. Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on training, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging challenges in pipeline design, maintenance, and sustainability.
The Technical University of Leoben welcomes collaboration with pipeline companies and industry associations worldwide to develop this initiative further and support the education of the next generation of pipeline engineers.
