Subsea7 Awarded Major Offshore Pipeline Project by Saudi Aramco
Subsea7 has been awarded a major engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract by Aramco for an offshore pipeline project in Saudi Arabia, the company announced on Sunday, September 14.
The project, valued between $750 million and $1.25 billion, is part of an existing long-term agreement between the two companies.
The scope of the contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, and the installation of 106 kilometers of infield and export pipelines, with the company also expected to handle the modifications to existing topsides and related hook-up activities.
David Bertin, Subsea7’s Senior Vice President for Global Projects Centre East, emphasized the significance of the project.
"This project marks another important milestone and reinforces our long-term strategic engagement with Aramco," Bertin said. He added that the company looks forward to a close collaboration with Aramco to ensure the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
Project management and engineering work are set to begin immediately at Subsea7’s offices in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with offshore activities scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
The contract's award solidifies Subsea7’s role as a key partner in Aramco’s offshore development initiatives and adds to the company’s list of projects this year. In June 2025, the company also secured a substantial pipeline contract offshore Norway.
