The newly developed HDD45-E horizontal drilling rig is designed for operation in confined spaces due to its compact design. This makes it particularly suitable for use in residential areas and nature reserves, for example, where it particularly demonstrates its advantages in terms of reduced noise output levels and CO2 emissions – an aspect that is playing an increasingly important role in project tenders.

The HDD45-E’s performance values:
It has a thrust and pullback load of 45 tons, a drilling torque of 24,000 Nm and a maximum speed of 150 revolutions per minute. The boost function allows a short-term increase in traction to 60 tons.

The portfolio is also complemented by the fully electric driven HPP400-E mud pump. It consumes significantly less energy than a conventional mud pump. In combination with an HDD-E system, the HPP400-E contributes to a sustainable construction site concept thanks to its fully electric drive.

The new ecotec range from STREICHER is rounded off by the innovative and remote-controlled vacuum crawler VC70. This device is more ergonomic and eco-friendly with its operational function for removing a wide variety of soil materials – sand, earth, gravel, stones, mud and water. The vacuumed material can be easily emptied from its container on site, regardless of whether the vacuumed contents are in liquid or solid form. Further advantages are their compactness and maneuverability in conjunction with its high operative performance. It is even suitable for use on sidewalks and avoid the need for road closures.
