German Pipeline Regulator Begins The Certification of the Nord Stream 2

Germany's energy regulator, the Bundesnetzagentur, said yesterday that four months, which began on 8 September, are required to complete certification of the now completed Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline running from Russia along the Baltic Sea floor to Germany.

Once the regulator completes its inspection it will send a draft decision to the European Commission.

New Pakistan Gas Pipeline Proposed

It has been agreed, by both the Pakistan and Russian governments to explore the viability of building a 1,100-km gas pipeline from Port Qasim in Karachi to Lahore at an estimated cost of USD 2.5-3 billion by the end of 2023.
