Nova Transportadora do Sudeste (NTS) operating Brazil's largest pipeline system, spanning over 2,000 km, has partnered with Atmos, a provider of pipeline management software.

With a transport contractual capacity of 158.2 million m3 of gas per day, NTS plays a crucial role in meeting around 50% of Brazil's gas consumption. The pipeline network connects Brazil's most industrialized regions and links to the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo.

Through the adoption of advanced pipeline management technology, NTS is taking proactive measures to address evolving industry requirements, contributing to Brazil's sustainable development and energy security.

NTS has embarked on this project to gain a comprehensive understanding of the network's behavior using the software offered by Atmos. The software is already operational in over 20 countries, managing approximately 45,000 km of pipelines globally.

The project between NTS and Atmos is currently underway, marking a significant milestone in NTS's commitment to meeting Brazil's growing gas demands and strengthening their position in the country's energy landscape.
