Building on the groundbreaking success of the first Virtual Pipeline Summit (VPS) earlier this year 30 June 2020 which attracted over 600 participants from around the world, the EITEP Institute, the summit’s organizer, is readying to launch the second VPS on 7 October 2020.

The theme of the new event Leak Detection and Third Party Impact Prevention is a unique and singular event highlighting several of the greatest challenges facing the pipeline industry in modern times.

Simulating the conditions of an actual conference in light of the ongoing global pandemic, VPS 2 will provide an in depth look into such vexing issues as

• fiber optic sensing
• illegal tapping
• leak detection systems
• leak detection pigs
• remote sensing
• third party impact

facilitating the transfer of knowledge and networking opportunities with industry leaders in a tested and proven online arena.

EITEP President Dr. Klaus Ritter is looking forward to another big turnout by the pipeline industry saying that the synergies of the summit’s theme, industry experts and leaders and worldwide participants present one of the few opportunities today to share collective experiences and advance industry excellence.
