TPI/ROW risks are intensifying. European regulatory requirements are tightening. Pipeline networks have never been more monitored - yet they remain exposed to external threats that evolve faster than existing surveillance methods can match. Digitalised aerial monitoring is a first response to these pressures, but insufficient without near real-time delivery and high-resolution imagery. What fundamentally transforms integrity management is the ability to detect a threat, qualify it and deliver it to the right team while the situation is still manageable. This paper explains why NRT is the decisive condition for effective monitoring, and how an Earth Intelligence approach can turn every surveillance mission into operational intelligence - from field teams to management.
